Every 1000 gold your faction gains by killing the opposing soldiers, a crystal will spawn inside your base, grab that crystal and use it to recruit new powerful units to join the ranks of your faction's army. Last-hitting enemy soldiers can delay the spawn of your the next crystal, denying your own units can do the same to your enemy. Defeat the enemy defenders to conquer the enemy markets and gain an income advatage over your enemies or defeat one of the four powerful bosses to add special units to your faction's army.
