You can accomplish this by first gathering souls at the active ethereal rift (type "-loc" to find this.) After getting powerful enough, establish a base or support an established base to fend off the demon until merchant summons are available (30 minutes.) Demon: You must destroy the Defenders. It can help to destroy the Talismans; (These are killable around level 9). This will greatly hinder Defender's ability to progress. After destroying talismans and early-constructed bases, you must hunt each Defender down before they can overcome you.
