In this game, you use colored essence to upgrade your towers for defense and your mercenaries for offense. You gain essence at the end of each level from a shared pool in the center of the map. The towers and mercenaries you transform with essence depend on the colors of essence you infused them with: Red: Damage, brute force Green: Attack speed, tower buffs Blue: Range, enemy debuffs Increase your end-level essence and gold pay by upgrading your mercenaries with essence.
