The Anglo-Saxons fight each other in order to rule Britain. The Celts retreated westwards, but they are not safe. The Vikings have discovered a better land and will fight to defend it. To gain wealth, the Pagan Norse will burn and sack every monastery or weak spot in Britain. With the rise of Wessex, the Danes are a obstacle to the unification of England. Dominate the North Sea from petty kingdoms to a colonial empire.
