Civil War 1861-1865 The war has begun! Confederates take fort sumpter in April of 1861 and have the union on the run! Following the battle, four more states join up with the confeds. West Virginia creates their own state and sides with the union. Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, and Missouri all slave owning states, stick with the union. During the Battle of Bull run, Gen. McDowell attacks the confeds in and is initially successful until confed reinforcements arrive leading to a chaotic return home back to the north.. It's up to you to determine the outcome of the war. The South has finally seceded from the Union and wants to be regognized as a separate nation apart from the U.S. The Confederacy led by Jefferson Davis and Robert E. Lee have mobilized the local militia throughout the south. Union must stop the rebelion.
