Most ranged heroes have splash damage. Melee heroes benefit from cleaving items. Restart Game client before joining a custom game to Prevent desyncs. Some abilities scale with hero stats and base damage. Stat bonuses are included with those abilities but damage bonuses are not, only base damage (white) is used. Refer to Multiboard, use -dmgmax to increase a hero's base damage.
