The Darkening Wars v1.42

The Golden Age of Humanity has passed. Humanity is on the brink of extinction not by the devices of alien invaders or uncontrollable disasters, but that of its own machinations. The creation of the mutants in an attempt to stave the hunger and cold failed, and these creatures returned to reap the life that remained. The construction of the machines to preserve humanity instead turned on itself, betraying its master and instead pursuing a new goal of destruction and annihilation. The day of heroes is over. Enter an eternal night, where the only way out is victory or obliteration. Map Terrain: Origin
