Years ago, the crypt lord Anub'arak sent his army of undead to the ancient Nerubian ziggurat now known as Naxxramas. Scourge forces captured the fortress and on the orders of the Lich King turned it into a powerful weapon of war. Dark magic lift castle from the ground to the sky, where Naxxramas, shrouded by clouds, preparing for war, and then the will of the Lich King unleashed all evil sharpened it on Azeroth.
