Illidan Stormrage--the Lord of Outland--knows that his enemies in the Burning Legion will never stop hunting for him. In order to keep them from opening new pathways into his domain, Illidan now seeks the original artifacts used by Ner'zhul--the Eye of Dalaran, the Jeweled Scepter of Sargeras, and the Book of Medivh--in order to undo the mad shaman's many rifts and seal off Outland once more from outside interference. To this end, Illidan's prodigy--an ambitious young Blood Elf named Varedis--has traveled forth in search of these objects so necessary to his Master's plans...
