The galaxy was at peace - until the last Metroid was stolen from captivity. Bounty hunter Samus Aran is now in pursuit on the fortress planet Zebes, in a mission to retrieve the metroid hatchling from the zealous Space Pirates. With Samus occupied, a band of pirates strategically invaded the research facility Aurora II. You have been summoned by the Federation to infiltrate the hijacked research complex and reclaim it from the pirates. To aid you considerably, you have been issued a newly developed Power Suit. If you should fail to defeat the pirates, they could obtain a wealth of powerful weaponry. We are counting on your success. - Galactic Federation Police
